Service Description
Join Us for Friendly and Relaxed Weekly Classes Classes run year-round with no 'term-time' or 'holidays'. Our fully equipped workshop provides everything you need to master the essential skills and techniques of designing and crafting your own unique jewellery. With expert guidance from professional Jewellery and Silversmithing Designers, you’ll receive personalized support every step of the way. Through hands-on projects, you’ll learn to work with silver and other precious materials, developing techniques such as piercing (sawing), forming, soldering, ring making, stone setting, texturing, etching, roller milling, finishing, and polishing, among many others. As your confidence grows, you’ll have the opportunity to bring your design ideas to life, with tailored instruction and support to refine your individual style. For those with more experience, our weekly classes offer an inspiring, professional environment where you can further develop your skills and expand your creative vision. Work on self-led projects at your own pace, with access to expert technical assistance and guidance from our skilled tutors. Good to know Our classes provide a welcoming, supportive atmosphere, with plenty of individual attention from the tutor and excellent access to tools and equipment. The course fee includes full use of our workshop facilities, as well as consumable items like sandpaper, drill bits, and saw blades. Please note that silver and other precious metals or materials will need to be purchased separately. Don’t worry—your tutor will guide you on how and where to source these materials. What Should You Bring? Since the classes take place in a professional workshop environment, things can get a little messy! We recommend bringing an apron, wearing old clothes, and opting for closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair, remember to bring a hairband. A notebook, pen or pencils, and a small container or toolbox to store your work will also come in handy. We can’t wait to see you there! The Fine Print Classes require a minimum number of participants to run and may be cancelled if this number isn’t reached. In such cases, you will be contacted and fully refunded. Due to the nature of the workshop, participants must be aged 16 or over unless pre-assessed and approved by the tutor. We offer step-free access. If you have a disability, learning difficulty, or require additional support, please let us know in advance so we can discuss your specific needs.
