Introduction for Beginners - 2 Day Workshop

Introduction to Jewellery Making

10 hour Workshop over 2 days

This short course is the equivalent in learning hours as one term of our Weekly Classes. Learn some of the basic skills and techniques needed to be able to design and make your own jewellery. During this two day workshop you will be guided and supported through set projects and will learn how to work in silver and other materials.

Full use of the workshop facilities and use of consumable items such as sandpaper, drill bits, saw blades, etc is included in the course fee as well as use of base metals. Silver and other precious metals and materials will be charged separately and can be purchased during the class.

Class atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, as well as giving you lots of individual help and support from the tutor and good access to tools and equipment.

What will I need to bring?

With classes being in a professional workshop environment, things can get a little bit messy so we suggest that you bring an apron, wear old clothes and closed toe shoes. If you have long hair - bring a hairband! It might also help to bring a notebook, pen/pencils and a container or small tool box to keep your work in.

We look forward to seeing you there!
