1/2 Day Workshop, 4 hours Join us at the Old Barn Workshop in Frensham, Surrey, for a creative and inspiring silver gemstone ring-making workshop. Perfect for beginners or those with some jewellery-making experience, this half-day workshop invites you to design and craft your very own sterling silver band ring set with a sparkling gemstone. Guided by an expert jeweller, you’ll learn how to tube set a small faceted gemstone and mount it securely to your silver ring. Explore a range of design options to add your own personal flourish, and enjoy plenty of individual help and friendly support along the way. Our fully equipped workshop offers a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, with great access to professional tools and equipment. Silver and a selection of gemstones are included, so you can focus on your creativity and leave with a unique, handcrafted gemstone ring to treasure. Unleash your creativity and discover the art of jewellery making in the beautiful Surrey countryside! Good to know: What Should You Bring? Since the classes take place in a professional workshop environment, things can get a little messy! We recommend bringing an apron, wearing old clothes, and opting for closed-toe shoes. If you have long hair, remember to bring a hairband. A notebook, pen or pencils, and a small container or toolbox to store your work will also come in handy. The Fine Print - Classes require a minimum number of participants to run and may be canceled if this number isn’t reached. In such cases, you will be contacted and fully refunded. - Due to the nature of the workshop, participants must be aged 16 or over unless pre-assessed and approved by the tutor. - We offer step-free access. Cancellation Policy
Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy This Booking, Cancellation & Refund Policy (“Policy”) sets out the terms between you (“the Customer”) and Frensham Old Barn Workshop (“the Workshop”) regarding bookings for workshops, classes, and events. 1. Bookings and Payment: - All bookings must be paid in full at the time of reservation to secure your place. - You will receive a confirmation email containing your booking details. 2. Cancellation by the Workshop: - If the Workshop cancels a booked event, you will be entitled to a full refund of the amount paid for your ticket. - The Workshop will make reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible. - Refunds will exclude any third-party booking fees unless otherwise stated. 3. Rescheduled Events: - If the Workshop reschedules an event, your booking will remain valid for the new date. - If you cannot attend the rescheduled event, you may request a refund of the amount paid. - It is your responsibility to check for updates regarding event changes. 4. Customer Cancellation: - If you cancel your booking within 48 hours of payment, you will receive a full refund. - Cancellations made after the 48-hour period are non-refundable. - You may transfer your booking to another person at your discretion, but please inform the Workshop in advance. 5. Refund Requests: - All refund requests must be made in writing via email to info@oldbarnworkshop.co.uk and include proof of booking and payment. - Refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of a valid request. 6. Health & Safety and Pandemic Policy: - The Workshop is committed to the health and safety of all participants. - In the event of a pandemic or similar public health crisis, the Workshop reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or alter events to comply with government guidelines. - You will be notified promptly of any such changes. - Refunds or credit notes will be provided if you are unable to attend due to pandemic-related cancellations or restrictions. - Attendees are required to comply with any health and safety protocols in place at the time of the event. 7. No-Show Policy: - If you do not attend the event and have not cancelled within the policy terms, no refund will be issued. 8. Precious Materials Policy: -Please note that any precious metals (silver, gold, or other specialty materials) personally ordered by you for use in your workshop are non-refundable. This applies only to materials you specifically request and purchase.
